After A Long Summer Of Rehearsals Preparing For Gigs, The Band Is Taking A Break From Live Shows To Work On New Original Material For an Up-coming CD Release. The Writing Is Going Well and We Are Currently In Preproduction Getting Everything Together. We Would Like To Thank Everyone Who Attended Our Gig At Super Ex In Ottawa on August 22 2008 It was Great To See All The Support Your What Keeps Us Going. Shaker is a Canadian Band residing in Ottawa Ontario, the band currently has one independent CD (two Original compositions and some remade covers) and is currently working with new members on new material. (See Bio’s And Band History Section) So Far 2008 has been a good year for the band and they are looking forward to playing live in August for a few scheduled appearances. The band’s current line-up features Rich Bowie On Drums, Dave Baker On Bass, Jean Couture on Guitar & Lead Vocal and Mark Doyle on Guitar. The main goal for 2008 is continuing to refine the bands current set list and to write new material for a future CD release.
